My piece, "High Noon at Three Forks", was recently awarded one of 5 Juror's Choice Awards at the North Country Arts Juried Art Show, held annually in the Second Floor Gallery at the Crandall Library - 251 Glen Street, Glens Falls, NY. The show runs through the end of December.
This drawing was a big challenge, but I do love trying to capture old silver and glassware and the magic created by a mirrored image is always intriguing. For this one, a single ornate fork collides with a beam of light and suddenly three forks compete for the spotlight.
