My new piece, "Farm Days" was accepted for the Cooperstown Art Association's Regional Juried Show - "Essential Arts". "Farm Days" was quite a challenge because of the close up view of and lettering and lettering on the objects. I also added a strawflower that was not actually in the arrangement. I was really honored that this piece won one of the prizes - the "Artware Award" at the show.
The show runs from May 3-31 and is located in the elegant, old library at 22 Main Street, Cooperstown, NY 13326. The hours are daily 11-4, Sundays 1-4 with closed on Tuesdays. Here is a link for more information.
