Silent Auction piece
I have just completed a piece showing a close-up view of the façade of the Gloversville Free Public Library in Gloversville, NY. This library is an architectural masterpiece erected with funds provided by philanthropist Andrew Carnegie. This artwork was created as a donation piece for the silent auction fundraiser to be held on Sunday, September 27, 2009. All donated artwork will be on display during the month of September on Main Street in Gloversville and a fundraiser calendar with photographs of the donated works will also be prepared as a gift for those who attend the auction and for later sale. This was a very challenging piece because of the intricacy of the architectural details, but very enjoyable and interesting too. All the donation pieces can be seen on the flickr link here. Reservations for the auction must be received by September 19, 2009.
